TEYS was established in June 2002 and has grown to be a company that offers a multidisciplinary range of services to the owners of strata-titled property. Together with its team of strata, property and building managers, lawyers, accountants, fund managers, property developers and marketers, the company creates a new way of managing strata-titled property for its clients.

Headhunted to the role of Queensland General Manager in 2004, having previously served as CEO of the Community Titles Institute Queensland, Troy played an integral part in TEYS acquisition of strata management business in Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast, along with the integration of a Law firm.

It was these acquistions that played a significant role in TEYS' subsequent stock exchange listing.

Teys has offices in Sydney, Albury, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Cleveland and Sunshine Coast at Maroochydore & Noosa, Melbourne & Bayswater in Victoria, Perth, & Como in Western Australia, servicing clients in all states.

Declining an offer to relocate to TEYS' head office, Troy left in early 2005 to become Chief Executive Officer the Australian Institute of Building.
